Hey, I'm famous!
March 17, 2017
My friend David and I recently did a fun but important project to support EPA staff. Read about it here. And here's some of the work I'm doing to help progressive organizations promote their causes: March Merch! |

Fare Thee Well
It is with a bit of sadness and a lot of gratefulness that I'm announcing the closing of BakerMan Dan, effective March 1, 2016.
The reasons are many, but they mostly come down to too much work and not enough money. It's been a nice hobby, but not something I can sustain.
It's been a fun-frustrating-rewarding-exasperating-joyful-exciting-heartbreaking-inspiring experience that I would not trade for anything. I have learned so much in this past year, and I've made some great friends and connections in the local food community that I will cherish.
I'm not done baking, though I don't know where I'll be doing it next. I'll keep this website and my social media accounts open so I can let people know what's up. For the time being, I want to concentrate on rebuilding my promotional products company that's been feeling a little neglected this past year.
This article [To Anyone Who Thinks They're Falling Behind In Life] came by way of my brother Albert, a couple of days after I made my decision to close up shop. It speaks to giving ourselves permission to be exactly where and who we are at the moment. It's a very supportive read, and one that made me feel even better about my decision.
Thank you for your support and encouragement this past year. I'm a better man for having done this, and for having known you.
